Vicky Krieps from “Hold Me Tight” Said She Was Too Crazy for Many Directors

Vicky Krieps is candid about her acting “flaws”. Some of the directors weren’t ready for her uniqueness.
Even though filmmakers sought actors with a fire inside, many rejected Vicky because of her wild character. In an interview with Vogue, Krieps mentioned that Mathieu Amalric, the director of “Hold Me Tight”, was the one to accept her unusual nature. The “Phantom Thread” star also admitted her craziness might have seemed unhealthy for others.
“I think other directors maybe get scared that I’m not well or whatever, and Mathieu was one of the only directors to just let me in that zone.”
