Valentino notified all the boutiques 2 weeks before.

New scandal is brewing in the high-fashion industry. One of the luxury brands claims that the its rights have been violated.

Fashion house Valentino organized Spring 2023 haute couture fashion show on July 8. The event took place in their homeland, Italy. Valentino chose Spanish Steps in Rome for the location. Dior’s several shops became inaccessible to the customers in the process.

The French brand claims their customers were “refused access and blocked at the barriers”, which caused the shops “to be empty and unable to operate”.

As WWD reports, in the letter to Valentino, Dior claims compensation to be paid during the next 15 days. The luxury brand seeks €100.000 and states they are ready to “adopt all the necessary measures to protect their rights”.
