The actor didn’t change his opinion he had from the beginning.

From the very beginning, Tom Hanks predicted the course of the movie "Elvis". And it is not because he is one of the main actors in that film.

The star of Forrest Gump didn’t doubt the success of the film, when director Baz Luhrmann presented the general description of it, the ABC news writes. Having known Luhrmann for many years, Hanks thought that this is the style of a director, which can hardly fail. And really almost everyone has been talking about this unique director's film lately.

"Baz in the very first meeting said, ’Look, this is a story about two people. There would have never been an Elvis without a Col. As soon as he said that, I thought, ‘Well, this is going to be new turf, and worthy of the Baz-maximalist-confetti-strewn style of moviemaking.’"
