Gosling Says He Was Fired from 'The Lovely Bones' for Being Too Fat
The actor and the producer had different expectations.
If an actor has been approved after the casting, it does not mean he cannot be fired right on the set. Ryan Gosling can definitely relate.
Ryan was diligently preparing for a part in the "Lovely Bones“ movie, where he was supposed to play the father of the main character. The man has grown a full beard and has gained almost 30 kilograms!
But when Gosling came to the set, the director cut their further cooperation because of the actor’s, which did not match his expectations. Ryan later spoke about his disappointment with the Hollywood Reporter.
“We had a different idea of how the character should look. I really believed he should be 210 pounds.”
