Megan Thee Stallion wasn’t that independent and cool woman we’re used to seeing. She preferred to obey rather than dictate.
The “Plan B” singer confessed her mom, Holly Thomas, was the one to have the last word about every decision in child’s career and life. Stallion told The Cut her parent would voice her opinion and she listened to it. According to Megan’s words from the interview, it has become much harder for her to deal with everything after her close one passed away.
“Me and my mom had this good-cop, bad-cop thing going on. So she would come in the room like, ‘This what we ain’t doing. F*ck that.’ And I’d be like, ‘Okay, so, guys, she means …’ But now I don’t have the luxury of having somebody who could be my bad cop. Now I have to be both.”
