Mark Stein From Vanilla Fudge Told How He Met Michael Jackson
A lot of people will guarantee the pop phenomenon was an amazing person.
Mark Stein once more confirms how smooth and easy working with Michael Jackson was. The “Vanilla Fudge” vocalist recalls Jackson made certain gestures that allowed to think their cooperation would succeed.
According to the singer, Jackson immediately agreed with the offer to go to the room-studio and listen to the band’s music. Luckily “The Jacksons” and “Vanilla Fudge” were rehearsing in the same building. When Mark met Michael, the latter was standing in the corridor, acting super nice.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, Stein said, as soon as the legend heard their compositions, he started to dance and made it clear the collaboration would happen.
“I was working with Dave Mason at the time. I saw Michael hanging out by the soda machine. I went over to Michael and introduced myself. I said, ‘Why don’t you come to the studio and check out this track? I think you’re gonna dig it.’ I couldn’t believe it, he said, ‘Yeah, no problem.’ Here was this soft-spoken guy who instantly lit up as this superstar once you played him that beat. It was a naive and innocent moment, but that was all one take.”
