Kenneth is still paying for his past deeds. He has been detained to house arrest since he failed to register as a sex offender after the couple moved to California. Besides this punishment, Petty must also pay fines in the amount of $55.000. The US Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles told the ET:

Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty spent several years in prison on charges of rape of 16-years-old Jennifer Hough. Sad for Nicki she thought that money can solve every problem in their lives. She appeared with a very disrespectful offer. Nicky tried to save the situation by offering money to Jennifer for her future silence. She was so in pursuit of justifying her husband in all possible ways, that she thought that there’s also a woman in front of her.

Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty’s shameful act in early 1994 will follow him till his death. He thought that changing his residence place will change his previous life.

As The Insider reports, the federal prosecutors of California require 15 month of jail for Kenneth. According to court’s documents, he is accused in not registering as “sex offender” after he moved to the state.

Kenneth probably thought that the place of living matters, meanwhile he will carry that heavy case with him forever.
