Johnny Depp Accused of Stealing Lyrics from Incarcerated Man’s Poem

Hollywood actor Johnny Depp may get a new lawsuit. Interestingly, Amber Heard has nothing to do with it.
Johnny Depp and British guitarist Jeff Beck have recently recorded a joint music album "18". It would seem the actor was successfully returning to work after a cancellation period, but things took a darker twist.
The folklorist, Bruce Jackson, accused Depp and Beck of using several phrases from his 1974 book “Get Your Ass in the Water and Swim” about popular toasts among African Americans. Together with former prisoner Slim Wilson, the author collaborated on the collection. According to Rolling Stone, Jackson is still open to the possibility of suing Depp.
