Abi Beharie Says He Visited Acting Area before Shootings Which Helped Him a Lot

Abi Beharie is still that risky guy who would do unimaginable things for the sake of the role. The actor has figured out a way to get into the character and understand their psychological background.
Abi Beharie reveals how he received the part in the “Breaking” movie in an interview with IndieWire. The actor says before the filming, he went to the bank where the actual crime had been committed. It left a bitter taste in his mouth.
Beharie says the institution’s premises were so insecure they could be robbed anytime. Only after studying them did the star realize his character’s motives and views. Abi believes this experience has aided him a lot in performing to the best of his ability.
“I just happened to be in Atlanta at the time [I was offered the script] and I thought ‘let me drive over and try to find this bank. Apparently it had been robbed quite a few times… it’s in this very strange place. You wouldn’t want to put your port there…that, helped me answer all of those questions.”
