In an interview with Porter, the Hollywood actress says that she doesn't like to be in the center of attention. The main star of "The Eyes of Tammy Faye'' prefers not to publicize her life and just do her job silently. This is why her feelings when receiving the award were completely unusual.
"I’m used to just putting my head down. I’m not a very public person and I don’t really embrace fame. So to have a moment of this global recognition is so different to my everyday life."
