The singer told Insider once the show ended, he never had the backing of producers. They should’ve helped Caleb release a new album after his winning. He recorded songs and waited patiently for their part of the deal. Unfortunately, the expectations didn’t meet reality.

It was not surprising to see Nicki Minaj involved in another historical scandal. It was unexpected that this time his "victim" was Mariah Carey.

In 2012, TMZ published a behind-the-scenes video where Nicki was cursing Mariah, who tried to defend herself. As the rapper was saying offensive things, the other one called her a kid.
